- Cortamos la cebolla en trocitos y la ponemos a dorar en una sarten mediana o grande con un corrito de aceite.
- Mientras se dora la cebolla cortamos la pechuga de pollo en trocitos pequeños. Los añadimos a la sartén, tapamos y revolvemos de vez en cuando hasta que el pollo tome un color blanco. Mientras tanto ponemos una olla con 1 litro de agua (4 tazas) a hervir y añadimos el caldo de carne.
- Cuando el pollo este dorado, añadimos el arroz. Revolvemos y vamos agregando el caldo poco a poco solo hasta cubrir el arroz. Tapamos y revolvemos de vez en cuando controlando que el caldo no se consuma. Si le hace falta vamos añadiéndole caldo.
- Cuando veamos que está casi en su punto (a gusto del consumidor) dejamos de añadir caldo si aun te queda. Rectificamos de sal (a mi gusto nunca le suelo añadir. Apagamos el fuego y añadimos el toque final que es el queso en polvo ( yo uso el del mercadona) tapando toda la superficie del arroz. Revolvemos y veras que va tomando un toque cremoso. Servir y listo para comer! No tiene una esplendida presentación pero esta exquisito!!!
- UN CONSEJO: Si no vamos a comer enseguida el arroz, es mejor no agregar el queso y reservar algo de caldo para añadirlo cuando se vaya a comer, porque el arroz absorbe todo el caldo y se queda mas espeso y no tan suelto.
